Interview | From Gymnastics to Healing Hands

Q: Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you became a masseur?

Deniel: I come from a strong sports background, having been a professional gymnast for many years. My experience in gymnastics gave me an in-depth understanding of the human body and the demands that physical activity places on it. Transitioning into massage therapy felt like a natural progression for me. I wanted to use my knowledge to help others recover, perform at their best, and understand their bodies in a more profound way.

Q: What inspired you to pursue a career in massage therapy?

Deniel: My journey into massage therapy was inspired by my own experiences as a gymnast. I frequently relied on massage therapy to recover from intense training sessions and competitions. I witnessed firsthand how it not only aided in recovery but also enhanced my performance. That’s what motivated me to pursue a career where I could help others experience these same benefits and contribute to their overall well-being.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?

Deniel: What I enjoy most is helping clients overcome physical challenges and seeing the positive impact that massage therapy can have on their lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey to better health and performance, whether it’s helping someone recover from an injury or simply providing relief from the stresses of daily life.

Q: How often should guests visit for massages? What are the long-term benefits and possibilities of regular massage bodywork?

Deniel: Ideally, I recommend guests visit every 3-4 weeks to maintain the benefits of massage therapy. Regular sessions can improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, enhance flexibility, and promote overall relaxation and well-being. Additionally, regular massage can aid in quicker recovery from injuries and help prevent future ones, making it a crucial component of a comprehensive wellness routine.

Q: How did the collaboration with Katie England come about, and why does it work so well?

Deniel: The collaboration with Katie England developed naturally because we share a common vision of providing high-quality, personalized care to our clients. Our combined expertise and commitment to health and wellness create a supportive environment that benefits both our clients and our team. It’s a partnership that allows us to offer a unique and holistic approach to massage therapy, which I believe truly sets us apart.
